Updated 12/1 Congratulations to the AYFA D1-4th Grade Team - National Champions - AYFA'S Division 1 4th Grade NMFL Championship Team competed in the Cobb County Turkey Day Classic Tournament, a National Tournament with teams from 32 States. With victories over teams from Alabama and Ohio, AYFA Eagles faced off with the number 1 seed in the Tournament, Dacula Falcons, who entered with a 4 year record of 60-0. In a thrilling game, AYFA D1 4th won the game in overtime to hand Dacula their first loss in 4 years and earn the title of National Champions. CONGRATULATIONS TO Coach DL Warfield, his Staff and the talented youngmen on this very special team! NMFL is very proud of their accomplishments. North Metro Football League is pleased to be a Chick-fil-A Bowl Youth League Partner. As a youth league partner each 2009 NMFL Championship team will be recognized on Chick-fil-A Bowl Game Day, December 31, 2009. Each winning team (players and cheerleaders) will have the opportunity to start the day by marching in the Chick-fil-A Bowl parade along with the marching bands, mascots and cheerleaders form the ACC and SEC teams participating in the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Following the Parade they will make their way to Chick-fil-A Bowl FanFest.
